Perimeter

Perimeter

The perimeter of a shape is the distance around it.
6cm x 4cm rectangle
The perimeter of this rectangle is 20 cm. If we start from A and move around it in a clockwise direction, we travel a distance of Equation: 6~cm + 4~cm + 6~cm + 4~cm = 20~cm .
